Our orchestra
named "Musikverein Neukieritzsch-Regis e.V." consists
of about 20 members aged from 12 to 31 who all enjoy making music in their spare
time. We can look back at a more than 30 year music tradition now.
Our repertoire ranges from classical titles and musical medleys to folk and popular music.
We took part in international competitions taken place in the state of Saxony and in several European countries, for example we were the winners of the international music festival in Calella/Spain in 1991. We have already performed pieces of music in Great Britain, in the Netherlands, in Luxembourg, Hungary, the former Soviet Union and in Czechia.
